If there is severe weather that prevents the event from being held at all on Saturday, it will be moved to Sunday. If severe weather persists on Sunday, it will be moved to a later date. Our Ultimate Viking Warrior OCR for June 14th & 15th has 2 Days of grueling, Viking-inspired obstacles designed to challenge your strength, grit, and endurance.
June 14: 10k=3.5 loops with 88 Obstacles
June 15: 5k =2 loops with 44 Obstacles

The Family Race is a 1/2 mile (2 loops) packed with 16 obstacles—perfect for kids and families to enjoy the Hildervat experience together in a safe, fun way.

Hildervat Kids and Family Race. Bring your Jr. Vikings and introduce them to the world of obstacle course racing with this specialty course designed for kids - ages 4 and up. Obstacles are specially designed with kids in mind, however, parents are highly encouraged to run the course with smaller/younger children. These obstacles will be challenging for your 9-14 year old to complete on his/her own. Ages 4-9 year will need assistance from their parents on some of the obstacles.
Course is spectator friendly and fully visible at all times 1/2 mile loop (participants can run it once or twice.) Heats of approximately 50 participants every 15 minutes starting at 8:00 am Approximately 8-10 obstacles per loop. Types of obstacles include but not limited to: hurdles, monkey bars, cargo nets, rings and carries. All participants will receive a finisher medal and t-shirt All participants must be registered before entering the course including parents who are assisting children Festival Area with food trucks and sponsor tables Fun family day!
Anyone who is on the course, running or assisting must be registered - $30/person or $150/family of 3 to 5 persons. (discount applied at checkout)

Heats will be divided into age-groups for the more competitive child, while open heats will provide a more relaxed family environment.
Absolutely! We offer both Elite and Age Group divisions with prize money and podium medals.

Overall Awards will be presented as follows:
Men - 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place Women - 1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place

AGE GROUP AWARDS
The following age groups will also be awarded:13-17,18-24,25-29,30-34,35-39,40-44,45-49,55-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70 and above
TEAM AWARDS:
Top 3 teams will also be awarded. A team time will be calculated using the top 3 fastest runners on the team. At least 1 times must come from female team members. There is no limit to the number of runners that can be on a team, but only the top times will be used in the calculation.
The youth race will also feature Over All awards for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Place M&F, along with age groups 6&Under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12

Group pricing is available only for families registering together in open heats. Elite racers register individually to compete for prize money and titles.
If you are racing in the Elite Heat you must complete every obstacle to be eligible for awards. You can retry an obstacle as many times as you want, but if you continue without completing the obstacle, you must remove your band.
In the Open heats you can attempt an obstacle as many times as you would like. If you continue through the course without completion, you will still receive your Finisher Medal and Shirt.
